Antje Krause-Wahl is Heisenberg-Professor for Contemporary Art at the Institute of Art History at Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. Her research focuses on subject formations and community building, with a focus on the aesthetics of touch. Her methods are grounded in gender, queer und postcolonial studies with a strong interest in the social history of art. She is member of the governing board of Studiengalerie 1.357 at Goethe-University.
